Our Mission

 

Calvary Independent Baptist Church was founded to provide an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church in Meade County and the surrounding area.  The Bible says, Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: (Psalm 127:1).  We hold to the King James Bible to be God’s preserved and infallible word. Proverbs 30:5 says Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. 

 

 

Missions

 

 

Whether at home or on a foreign field, the Bible is clear about our responsibility to reach others for Christ.

 

Mark 16:15 …Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

 

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore and teach all nations…

 

We strive to uphold this Biblical principle through prayerfully and financially supporting missionaries in their work and by practicing Biblical teaching toward evangelism and discipleship.
